Description

Desmond Heating & Cooling Solutions is looking for a skilled Residential HVAC Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time position serving homeowners throughout Delaware, Chester County, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas. As part of our team, you’ll install, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems while providing exceptional service that reflects Desmond’s reputation for reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems including heat pumps, furnaces, central air systems, and ductless mini-splits.
  • Perform new installations of HVAC systems, thermostats, ductwork, and accessories.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance services to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners, explaining system issues and recommended repairs in a professional, easy-to-understand manner.
  • Document all services performed, parts used, and maintenance recommendations accurately.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent working condition.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • 3–5 years of residential HVAC experience preferred.
  • EPA Section 608 certification required.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, and electrical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
